The province of La Union is popularly known for its fine beaches. But it is fast becoming more than these fine beaches and its monicker as the surfing capital of the Ilocos. “Pugad” which means bird’s nest is one reason for this transformation.
Pugo, a municipal town of La Union is the site of the newly opened adventure and recreation destination in Ilocos. This picturesque destination with more than 3 hectares of lush mountain and clean river is called PUGAD or Pugo Adventure.
Zip Line Adventure
For adventure seekers, PUGAD offers a new kind of adventure. For instance, you can fly high like a bird with its zip line facility. Pugad boasts the longest zip line (380 meters) in Luzon. It is reportedly 2nd in the entire Philippine archipelago. As of this date, two more zip lines are in the pipe line to provide visitors a much better view of the entire scenery.
Rapelling, wall climbing and trekking

For a relaxing atmosphere, enjoy PUGAD’s crystal clear swimming pool suitable for children and adults. For the meantime, PUGAD caters to team-building and to small-group activities while the cottages, function hall and main building are still under construction.
